Cold jug
Peanut candy in a glass, unsweetened
From $24.99Price shown at our last check and set by the store, not by us.
The sweetened mazapan glass is the one kids ask for. This is the one for everyone else. Roasted peanuts, milk and the same quiet hint of coffee go in, and nothing goes in to sweeten them, so what you get is nut and cream rather than a liquid candy. It still pours thick and still drinks cold over ice, but it finishes dry instead of sugary.
Shaken cold over ice when the sweet glass would be one step too far.

A serving here is a weight, not a glass. We divide the pouch by the number of servings printed on it, so the grams add up whatever size cup you drink from.
Ground roasted peanuts carry the glass on their own oils. Without sweetening the drink tastes like the comal rather than the corner shop wrapper, closer to a cold nut horchata than to a dessert.
The trace of real coffee that sits behind the milk in the sweetened blend has more room here. It reads as a dark edge at the end of the sip and keeps the nut from turning flat or heavy.
Whisk a scoop into cold water and pour it over plenty of ice. The milk powder gives it body straight away. Add a splash more water if you would rather drink it long than creamy.
Small for a single jug, large for a house where the pitcher goes back on the counter twice a day. Both fold shut tight, which matters with a ground nut blend that does not like damp air.
The sweetened original, poured the way the market stalls pour it.

Stirred into cold water and poured over ice.
Roasted peanuts, milk and a trace of coffee with no sugar added, so the nut stands where the candy used to.
